Kerrin Bennett
Kerrin Bennett is the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Gastroenterology Unit at Te Whatu Ora Hawkes Bay.
They are a busy little unit constantly negotiating hurdles to provide a service for the wider region of HB.
After the past couple of years dealing with disruptions due to Covid they started this year thinking it would be great, little did we know what mother nature had in store.
Nicola Caine
Nicola completed her nurse training and post graduate degree in the nineteen nineties in the North of England.
After a move to New Zealand, she completed her master’s in advanced nursing and the Nurse Practitioner pathway.
Receiving Nursing Council accreditation as NP in 2022.
Karen Murdoch
Karen Murdoch is a CNS IBD at Hawkes Bay Hospital working in this field since 2013 but became a CNS in 2020.
Karen is very lucky to work within this area and is very passionate about her job.
Karen has been part of the nurses college and the IBD nurses group and continues to strive to provide a quality service for our ever growing patient population with this chronic condition.
